FractalSharp: An educational fractal exploration software using C# and Windows Forms
FractalSharp is a fractal exploration program which was developed under the PKM DIKTI 2005 research grant. The team members are Agro Rachmatullah (me as the project leader), Wijaya Adhi Surya, Danik Juliastuti, Iqbal Miftahul Ilmi, and Ahmad Dian Safira. We were all computer science undergraduates of Universitas Gadjah Mada back then.
The program can draw quite a lot of fractals, including Mandelbrot set, Sierpinski gasket, IFS, and bifurcation diagram. Please see the tutorial (Indonesian language) for many screenshots of the program in action.
It is developed using the C# programming language, so you first need to install Microsoft .NET Framework (1.1 or newer) or Mono (1.1.8 or newer). After that you can download the program itself, fractalsharp.zip (2.42 MB, with tutorial) or fractalsharp-nodoc.zip (180 KB, without tutorial). It is a free software licensed under GPL, so you can also get the source code.
Finally, you can also read the final report and final presentation (both in Indonesian).
