Mathematical integral Gravatar image: What’s the rating?
I just added an image to Gravatar so that it will appear as my avatar when I comment on blogs. It’s just exactly my old WordPress.com avatar, the mathematical integral image. When adding, I met this amusing screen midway:
Now, I was really tempted to assign an X rating to the image. “Hardcore sexual imagery”? Integrals are definitely more hardcore! “Extremely disturbing”? Of course! It will give many shrieks to people who innocently stumble upon it. X doesn’t even do justice. It’s XXX!
But of course, if I give it an X rating, it will be ruthlessly censored on most blogs.
That’s why I decided to be a little evil and give it a G rating. It will appear…. everywhere!
