PLN did it again: no electricity
Not even a week after the last outage, my house at Sokaraja Tengah, Purwokerto went dark again! This time the lights went off at around 8:30.
I phoned Purwokerto’s PLN call center, (0281) 634220. The guy said there was a rotated blackout (”mati bergilir”). That means PLN couldn’t supply enough power for all the areas so the areas each get its turn of blackout. The guy said it will be off until 4. I used my laptop till its limit and after that studied Japanese from a book. Luckily before 2 lights went on again.
It’s the 21st century, and we’re facing electricity crisis. No wonder PLN is trying to build a nuclear power plant in Java. I wonder how often this will continue. Should I change this blog to PLN watch?
